Round 1

Ding Dong Ditch is a timeless Halloween classic usually played by kids,

But over the weekend, a man in Coopertown decided to create his own version, involving his car and the cops

Saturday while directing trick or treaters at Oak Pointe and Kacie Drive, police say Antonio Miller came through driving like the candy was about to run out.

They tried to talk to him but he floored it deeper into the neighborhood.

*Ding.*

But that road was a loop, and before ya know it, he was back at the same junction

*Ding.*

This time officers ORDERED him to stop. Do you think he listened?

Of course not. And this time he bumped an officer.

Miller took off toward the main road leaving the neighborhood.

I mean, At some point during ding dong ditch, you have to run away, right?

Not Antonio.

He came BACK into the neighborhood. Eventually turning down a dead end. Now he's got a sack full of charges.

Racked up a good haul too: aggravated assault on an officer, evading and even a DUI

Round 2

Ya know the carnival games that everyone says are rigged?

Well Nashville played one for 3 years, only to lose yesterday because the circus masters changed the rules.

Back in 2023, lawmakers passed a law kicking the mayor's picks off the airport board and handing the state most of the seats. Suspected retaliation over the GOP Convention.

The law ONLY applied to Nashville so they sued and won. Then, won AGAIN at the Court of Appeals.

*Bullseye*

But, after the Tennessee Supreme Court heard the case, the legislature rewrote the new law to cover other big cities. Now, Everybody gets a state-picked airport board.

*yipee*

So if course Monday, the Supreme Court said, there's nothing left to fight over. They wiped out Metro's wins and tossed the case.

No one's saying what happened was legal, just that now that the law has changed it doesnt matter anymore.

Metro's still fighting the new law in federal court, but for now, Nashville's not quite tall enough to ride this ride.

Nothing.

That's 2 stories down, 1 to go, so let's settle it. Should the state be running Nashville's airport? Yes or no?

Round 3

New video from Memphis pretty much speaks for itself. Except for the part you can't see. *black squares on screen*

Last night the Shelby County DA Steve Mulroy released 4 videos from the July 5th shooting of 20-year-old Tyrin Johnson.

Street cameras show the man firing his pew pew toward a group of people, then taking off.

Other video shows a hoard ofMemphis Police and National Guard give chase, and then suddenly you hear the shots.

But you never actually see them, remember the Guard doesn't wear body cams

The next thing we get is police bodycam of Guard members standing over Johnson on the sidewalk yelling "turn over."

The autopsy says he was shot in the back and the TBI's still investigating.

So why drop it now, the day before Election Day? Mulroy says transparency.

There doesn't seem to be enough for me to call it justified or not, But you're free to debate that in the comments.
