Let's Go!!

Round 1

Nashville police are asking for help identifying a man they say randomly punched two people walking on Broadway.

According to Metro police, the separate attacks happened October 12.

The victims were 48 and 80 years old, and both were knocked completely unconscious.

Broadway is supposed to leave you with an overpriced tab—not a hospital bill and a knot on your head.

And this is serious: Police say the 80-year-old spent four days in intensive care with a brain bleed and fractured ribs.

Neither victim realized they’d been assaulted until surveillance footage was reviewed days later.

Police released this image and say no similar incidents have been reported since.

If you recognize the man pictured, call this number to report his whereabouts.

And if you've recently woken up in the hospital multiple days after you visited Broadway, go back and check the footage.

Yikes!

Round 2

The river didn't just flood Copperhill — it rewrote the record book.

Overnight, the Toccoa River crested at 18.05 feet. The old record was 17.8, set back in 1990. Major flood stage is 14 feet. So this wasn't close — it blew right past it.

It rose about three feet in one night, hitting around 18 feet by early this morning, and Polk County went into a flash flood emergency. About twenty people had to be rescued. No injuries or deaths reported so far.

TEMA's at Level 4 for Polk County, and TVA's spilling 150,000 gallons a second at Blue Ridge and Ocoee Number 3 just to try to keep up.

Copperhill and McCaysville are underwater — and the water's still moving.

We, at the Patriot Punk Network are wishing everyone involved a safe return home and a speedy recovery from any damage that may have been incurred during this record-breaking event.

Round 3

Ideally, a school resource officer is supposed to be the one you most trust with your kids.

But, in Dickson, the TBI says that trust might have been misplaced.

Kenneth Howard used to be a school resource officer in Dickson County. The TBI started looking into him back on June 5th, at the request of District Attorney Ray Crouch.

On Tuesday, a Dickson County grand jury indicted him on one count of theft over $1,000. He was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Dickson County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

What did he do, bully kids for their lunch money?

I have no idea, but these are charges currently, not convictions.

But if you're the guy assigned to protect kids at school, and the TBI has to come investigate you for stealing…
