Round 1
We all know Marsha's talking to Tennesseans every day. But, how many is that?
Yesterday on 99.7, she gave an answer.
She told Matt Murphy they've knocked over ONE MILLION doors.
Tennessee has about 2.8 million households.
That's 1 out of every 3 doors in the ENTIRE state.
I have a metric ton of door-knocking experience, and I'm calling bollocks.
And Though we all know the H in politician stands for honesty, let's put it to a poll just to be sure
Has the Blackburn campaign come to your door?
During the interview, she also talked about data centers the budget and my favorite—creating her own Tennessee DOGE,
I wonder why she's calling it that? Maybe TNDOGE was already taken.
To be fair it was a decent interview and If you're undecided on who to vote for? Listen to it.
Then, if you're STILL not convinced, Green, Hatley and Pinkston debate tonight at 7.
Hatley offered a million to charity if Marsha would show.
But I guess THAT's the million she's NOT counting.
Round 2
Would it surprise you to hear another convict just escaped from the Tennessee Department of Correction?
Well…Surprise!
Sunday night, 28-year-old Jacob Allen Morley went missing from Northwest Correctional Complex in Lake County
He was serving life for first-degree murder
The state says he breached the perimeter fence.
Though that doesn't explain why the pictures they put out show him just strolling out a door
Gives me déjà vu from that hospital escape last week.
90 minutes after they noticed he was "missing"
the TBI says he stole a white 2008 F-350 off Keystone Drive
It has Lindamood Planting Company on the door and an air compressor in the bed, *show tag on screen*
Here's what I cant figure out. He stole the truck about 6 hours before they announced his escape. Why give him a head start?
You could get up to a $2,500 reward if you spot him, but Fair warning, he's dangerous so leave the apprehending up to the pros.
That's 2 stories down, 1 to go. If you know somebody in West Tennessee, smash that share button so this mug gets in front of them.
Round 3
Shelbyville Police just did something most departments never will.
They announced their FLOCK transparency Portal, making their audit info public!
But, part of that page reads a little like a sales brochure.
Take the facial recognition "myth."
Flock's plate readers technically don't do it. But Flock's Condor video cameras CAN lock onto a person and even follow them
And Officers can search video simply by typing a description.
Their new AI tool can ID drivers by their driving patterns. And a company called VIDIZMO is offering to add facial recognition to the regular flock cameras
To be clear it doesnt look like Shelbyville has those systems, and their transparency push seems genuine
But What Flock CAN do and what your county's contract ALLOWS aren't always the same thing.
