Round 1

Would you be surprised to know that Knoxville PD cant ID a pew pew. Seriously.

Yesterday morning KPD took to facebook to brag about this gnarly looking assault rifle they nabbed off a suspicious man.

There's just 1 problem—that's not an assault rifle. It's a pistol, and in fact, suggesting that a hi point would function well enough to assault anyone is a stretch all by itself.

Being suspicious isnt grounds for a stop and search

Now, despite what you may have heard about Constitutional Carry, it's actually illegal to carry a pew pew in Tennessee. TCA 39-17-1307

And until that law is overturned, simply carrying a pew pew, even in your own home, is grounds for detainment and even arrest.

So, When they detained the man it was probably legal, simply because he was carrying.

During the stop KPD also found a Walther and about 200 grams of Mary Jane's Lettuce,

so no matter what ya call it—pistol, assault rifle or bazooka—the man traded it in for a shiny pair of silver bracelets

Round 2

Now, I know gas station food is dodgy but the TBI is warning about a new danger, strawberry slush

But this isnt the frozen delicious goodness that you get from sonic

Ever since the THC and Kratom ban a few months ago, the tbi has been cracking down on gas station supplements

and yesterday they sounded the alarm about mislabeled products.

Pictured here are 2 that the TBI seems to be saying are misidentifying their ingredients.

KLAW and Strawberry Slush.

They say the products may be labeled as Cats Claw, a totally legal South American vine, when in reality, they may have that other South American leaf—kratom

But the people in the comments, arent convinced

Several chimed in to say the lab results for at least 1 of these products was actually legal.

Now I cant imagine that the TBI would post inaccurate information on their page intentionally, but then again, just a few years ago Rutherford County shut down 15 business who were all selling LEGAL product, so mistakes are possible.

What do you think? Should mind altering substances be sold at gas stations?

That's 2 down with 1 to go, so we are going to be out of pocket over the next few days which is gonna reduce our views, so can you do is a favor and show this video some extra love?

Round 3

When do you think a crisis is most likely to occur?

About 330 Sunday morning police got a call for an armed man with plans to take an early game over.

When police arrived the man barricaded himself inside for nearly 5 hours.

Despite the best efforts of Murfreesboro's Crisis Team the man accomplished his goal.

And though this is a really unfortunate tale, I noticed a stark difference between this officer involved incident and the one last week in Nashville where the guy had a sword.

In Nashville, their Crisis Team doesnt work the weekends, but in Murfreesboro, even at 330 on a sunday morning, they'll be there.

Sadly, in both cases the perp didn't make it, but at least in the Boro they understand that most "crisises" don't happen during bankers hours
