Flame Broiled or Bullet Ridden?
I imagine that's not the greeting you expect to receive when stopping in for a whopper
but that's how it must have felt to patronize the Manchester BK yesterday.
According to the Police Chief it started when a male and female customer got into some kind of an "interaction" with a male employee.
At some point the interaction turned sour and the men began to argue.
Not long after, they upgraded their beef to a full blown combo and things got physical
During the struggle the BK employee wound up peppered with lead the other 2 ran away.
Manchester PD is still holding some of the tea, but they did say the individuals were found just around the corner at the Southern Inn
There they were questioned, but As of this recording no one has been charged.
The worker was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.

Sullivan County Sheriff could use a hand tracking down some sticky fingered folks who walked off with lawncare equipment
Though the post says the theft occured on Ball Rd, the video was taken from nearby Old Stage Rd.
It shows a man walking from behind the camera carrying 2, what appear to be, weedeaters or pole saws.
About that time someone, presumably his accomplice, stopped in the middle of the road to scoop him up.
The getaway vehicle appears to be a white Jeep grand cherokee, also known as an Elizabeth Warren for those who want to be inclusive
If you have any information about the suspect, the weed whackers, or the US Senator they drove off in, get in contact with the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.
Ya know this one really surprises me, most of the time if you leave tools outside that require manual labor to operate, thieves steer clear.
I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

If you travel down 840 or Murfreesboro road in the mornings you can expect to see even more traffic backing up in the near future
As if we didnt have enough warehouses along that route, they are adding more! In the corner of NW Broad & 840
But calling them warehouses is so last year, so, they've found a new name!
they are calling it a "modern job creation development" which reminded me of another blast from the past
*remember shovel-ready jobs*
So what exactly is a modern job creation development? We didnt get an answer, though one of the commenters did have some stats
675 job across the 167 acre development. Thats about 4 job's per acre, less if you go with the official meeting minutes
So who knows, maybe it wont make traffic any worse, either way, I wish they'd stop giving things stupid names to make us feel better about more bland buildings
